Day 4
Today was a really full and exciting day. First we did timing analysis on our clocks with AutoCAD and excel. These methods and working model do an amazing job of predicting clock movement. We actually began to cut out people's pendulums with the lasercamm. It was cool to see people's visions become reality and I can't wait to cut out mine tommorrow. In the afternoon we went to the Air and Space Museum. It was interesting to see the various planes and motors and to see how technology has advanced. There was also a flight simulator that spun Shelby and I all over the place as we tried to find the virtual ocean. My favorite plane was a rickety US mail plane because it must have taken a lot of physics and power to actually fly. To cap off the day we had COSMOlympics. Surprisingly, we placed third and I am really proud of everyone. Our cheers and costumes were incredible. I really hope I finish my clock tomorrow so we can start the kinetic sculputures next week!
