Day 2

Today was a little less overwhelming than yesterday. In the morning there was a discovery lecture about parallelism and the problems facing computer programming. The whole language of computers is going to have to change, which is something I will have to follow since I am so dependent on computers. Once we arrived int the engineering building we still had tons of work to do, but now that we are more familiar with AutoCAD and the shop tools everything went slightly smoother. I began to draw my pendulum and after I asked a lot of questions, it began to take shape. In the design studio we were basically released to work on our own with some of our teachers present for help. I bonded with other people when we helped each other use the tools, which was helpful because some people were better at using tools than others. We did so much walking today! I actually don't mind and I like seeing the different trails, like the one that looks like a snake. Later we are going to walk all the way back to work on AutoCAD in the engineering building. I'm excited to bond with my cluster and see the campus at night.
